Contract Growing with Deepdale Trees

Landscape projects can take months or even years to move from initial design to planting. Our Contract Growing service gives you the opportunity to select and secure trees in advance, helping ensure that the right stock is available when your project is ready.

Deepdale Trees has supported many clients with Contract Growing, providing greater certainty around quality, specifications, availability and planning.

Planning ahead

The right trees, ready when you need them

Contract Growing is particularly valuable when a project requires specific species, sizes, forms or quantities.

By discussing your requirements at an early stage, we can identify suitable stock from our nursery or source plants through our fully plant-passported UK and European supply network.

Selected trees can then be managed with the future project in mind, helping provide greater confidence that the required stock will be available when planting begins.

Air-Pot® containerisation

Greater flexibility around planting

Where appropriate, selected trees can be containerised using the Air-Pot® system. Air pruning encourages the development of a dense, fibrous root system and provides improved transplant resilience. Containerisation can also remove many of the seasonal restrictions associated with field-grown trees, giving projects greater flexibility around their planting programme.

Why Contract Growing?
